JK Jadro Koper – Bay of Koper
The third event of the 29er EuroCup 2026 will take place in Koper, Slovenia, hosted by JK Jadro Koper.
What to expect
The event will welcome teams from across Europe for four days of racing in the Bay of Koper. If more than 40 teams register, the fleet will be split into two groups.
Arrival & Parking
Competitors should arrive via Kopalisko nabrezje street.
Team vehicles parking: Cruiser Terminal Regatta Parking
Public parking: PH Belvedere (height limit 2.10m)
Road trailers: please store empty trailers at “Zu sterna makadam”
Teams are advised to bring a hitch or wheel lock to secure their trailers.
Boat Launching
29er boats can be launched at:
Slip 1
Slip 2 (beach start)
Coach boats and RIBs must be registered online before arrival and also confirmed at the Regatta Office.
RIB Facilities
Launching ramp: Slip 1
Fuel station: MOL petrol station at Marina Koper
Reserved RIB moorings available at the marina.
Dinghy Park
Boats should be stored in the club yard and nearby beach area.
No glass or crockery is allowed in the dinghy park or balcony areas for safety reasons.
Regatta Office
Located on the first floor of the club building. Jury rooms are also located in the same area.
Registration
Competitors must bring:
- 2026 29er Membership
- Boat insurance certificate (or helm/crew insurance)
- Parental consent for minors

Sustainability
- Sailors are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles.
- A refill station will be available near the flagpole.
Facilities
- Toilets, showers and changing rooms: near the beach
- Nook Bar on site
- Self-service snack and drink vending machines
