Race Management

Introduction

Welcome to the Race Management page. The class has standards for race management and has a class appointed Race Officer, David Campbell James. He is responsible for making sure that our international championships such as the Worlds and Europeans are run to the highest standards. He appoints and approves race officials for all class organised events (currently Worlds and Europeans). Further, David provides guidance for organisations wishing to host 29er events around the world.

David is a former Olympic sailor, who competed for Great Britain in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in the Tornado catamaran.  David will be very happy to answer any questions you may have concerning race management and safety. Contact David.
